Rainy Day was founded in 1973 by husband and wife team Ann Milstein and Frank Piccione. In 1999, now owner, Heather Kochin joined the Rainy Day team as store manager. In 2003 Heather bought Rainy Day from Ann and Frank.

Since assuming ownership Heather has expanded the selling floor, built custom shelving and displays, added new product lines, created monthly store events and added her personal touch to the everyday look and feel of the store.
